Police Log: 17-Year-Old Arrested for Assault, Dangerous Weapon

Tuesday, May 29
9:00 a.m.: A person went in to the to speak to an officer about credit card fraud.
11:39 a.m.: A caller from Pleasant Street reported that he saw a person in a vehicle in front of his house taking pictures.

12:06 p.m.: A person walked in to the station to speak to an officer about fraud.
2:06 p.m.: An officer assisted after a two-car crash on Hayden Rowe Street.

4:07 p.m.: An officer responded to a 911 call from Lumber Street about an out of control 8 year old. The officer calmed the child down.
5:15 p.m.: A caller from Teresa Road reported that they saw a car full of teens run in to the woods to retrieve a bottle of vodka and then leave the area. Officers looked for the teens.
8:13 p.m.: Officers arrested Matthew James Westbury, 17, of 16 Hayden Rowe Street after a person went to the station to speak with them about a harassment order. Westbury was charged with assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and violation of a harassment prevention order.
