Police Log: Car Fire, Suspicious Napper

Thursday, April 12

7:40 a.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on Grove Street. Officers checked the area but did not find anything.

10:49 a.m.: An officer saw people walking down West Main Street. It appeared as if one had fallen. An ambulance transported them.

3:24 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a vehicle fire on Hayden Rowe Street. Officers responded and observed that the vehicle was not on fire; just overheating. AAA was called for a tow.

5:40 p.m.: A person walked in to the Hopkinton Police Department to report a suspicious occupied vehicle parked on the side of Carriage Hill Road. An officer responded and spoke to the person who was reportedly taking a nap.

6:35 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an erratic driver on Wood Street. An officer responded and found the vehicle parked at a residence.

8:02 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle was out of gas on West Main Street. AAA was on their way to assist.
