Police Log: Deer in Road, Loose Dog

Tuesday, June 26
6:58 a.m.: A resident reported a deer on the side of the road on Fiske Street. A second caller reported striking the deer, causing damage to his vehicle.
1:30 p.m.: An officer called the Highway Department to request parking barrels and horses for the carnival Wednesday night.

3:06 p.m.: received a 911 call after a motor vehicle crash on Grove Street.
5:04 p.m.: A resident caled police saying a motorist sped by his wife while she was walking on School Street.

6:11 p.m.: A wallet that was found on Vine Street was turned in to police. Its owner was advised.
11:00 p.m.: A caller on Prentice Street called police saying a dog is running around her yard crying. The caller could not get a description of the dog. Police notified the Fire Department.
