Police Log: Disturbance at Cornell's, Indecent Exposure

Friday, April 13

4:00 p.m.: A motorist reported that a landscaping truck was leaking fuel on Main Street. The truck was gone when an officer arrived.

9:28 p.m.: A 911 caller reported hitting a deer on East Main Street. Officers responded but were unable to find the deer.

9:34 p.m.: Several callers reported a disabled motor vehicle on route 495. The state police were contacted and responded.

10:19 p.m.: A caller reported a dead cat in the road on Wood Street. An officer responded and found that it was a dead beaver, not a cat, and removed it.

Saturday, April 14

10:29 a.m.: A North Mill Street resident found a dog without tags that appeared to be the boxer breed. The person brought the dog to where the owners eventually picked it up.

1:33 p.m.: A motorist reported an erratic driver on Hayden Rowe Street crossing in to Milford.

1:42 p.m.: Officers attempted to check on a person at West Main Street. They were unable to locate the person and were unable to contact their residence.

3:21 p.m. A parent from Singletary Way reported that neighborhood kids were playing in the road when an SUV full of teens pulled up and threatened them. Officers were unable to track down the SUV.

4:12 p.m.: A business manager at 77 West Main St. reported an unruly customer. Officers took one person in to protective custody.

4:13 p.m.: The Ashland Police Department requested that the check Frankland Road for the suspect in a possible breaking and entering. HPD was unable to locate anyone in the area.

4:35 p.m.: A tire fell off a motor vehicle on Grove Street. The owner was making arrangements with AAA.

5:14 p.m.: A resident reported that they did not have water to their Ash Street House.

5:54 p.m.: The investigated a brush fire on Spring Street.

7:12 p.m.: An officer checked and spoke with a motor vehicle operator on Hayden Rowe Street.

7:32 p.m.: A 911 caller from Hayden Rowe Street reported a disturbance and refusal to serve at .

9:55 p.m.: An officer had a motor vehicle move along from where it was on Hayden Rowe Street.

10:03 p.m.: A person fled the scene upon police arrival to a disturbance on Hayden Rowe Street.

10:21 p.m.: A person reported a male staggering on East Main Street. Ashland Police found the male at TJ’s.

10:56 p.m.: A caller reported an old green muscle car stopped in front of her Parker Point Road house. She said the operator got out, acted inappropriate and indecently exposed himself. Officers did not find the vehicle.

11:52 p.m.: A caller reported a gray vehicle parked at the end of Sanctuary Lane in a construction area. The person called back again shortly to report that the vehicle had left the area, along with two others, and appeared to be heading toward Hayden Rowe Street. An officer checked the area and found that everything appeared to be in order.

Sunday, April 15

12:31 a.m.: An officer checked a vehicle on Pond Street after a suspicious activity call. It belonged to a parent who was waiting to pick up their daughter.

7:46 a.m.: A caller reported that the mulch in front of an ATM on West Main Street was smoldering. The fire department was notified.

8:28 a.m.: A caller reported a motor vehicle off the road on Clinton Street. The crash occurred in Ashland and was handled by APD.

1:06 p.m.: An officer waited with a disabled motor vehicle until AAA arrived.

2:22 p.m.: A caller from the Fruit Street fields said they could hear gunshots in the distance. The caller was advised of the location’s proximity to the . An officer checked and confirmed that the shots were, in fact, from the club.

4:12 p.m.: A caller reported a person traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street. An officer met up with the person and spoke to them. They were looking for the .

5:30 p.m.: A caller reported that a dog on Saddle Hill Road chased him as he ran past the house. The person said the dog chased him across the street and on to the golf course. The caller said this has happened a few times in the past. The caller was advised to speak to who would speak to the dog’s owner.

9:00 p.m.: The Westborough Police Department requested Hopkinton police be on the lookout for a Toyota that hit a pole in Westborough but left and may have been leaking fluids. HPD was unable to find the vehicle.

9:39 p.m.: A 911 caller requested assisted assistance with her son who had been drinking. Officers took one person in to protective custody.

10:29 p.m.: A cell phone caller reported that someone put caution tape across the road on Ash Street.

11:18 p.m.: A caller reported that three males were tearing down caution tape on Main Street and throwing beer cans into the road. Officers were unable to locate them.

Monday, April 16

12:03 a.m.: A caller reported a loud party behind a house on Downey Street. Officers spoke with them and the partiers said they would call it a night.

2:59 a.m.: One porta-potty was tipped over on Main Street.

11:18 p.m.: An officer responded to malicious destruction of property on Main Street.

12:03 p.m.: An officer responded to a car crash on Chestnut Street. No one was injured.

12:12 p.m.: An officer responded to a hit and run on Hayden Rowe Street.

12:54 p.m.: A person reported that their skateboard had been stolen on Main Street.

4:11 p.m.: A caller reported a possible disabled motor vehicle on Grove Street. An officer responded and it was a person using their mailbox.

5:21 p.m.: An officer found a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street. The vehicle was overheating but was not in the roadway.

7:05 p.m.: A 911 caller reported several youths were running on the roof of the . Officers responded and located two sophomores on top of the building.

7:08 p.m.: A caller reported an injured swan on Priscilla Road. Animal Control was notified.

8:29 p.m.: A caller reported a bonfire on Sandy Beach. Officers responded and removed the people involved.
