Police Log: Fallen Trees, Aggressive Driver

Wednesday, May 23

12:27 a.m.: A vehicle pulled in to a parking lot on Hayward Street. After speaking to an officer from the , the person went to a different address.

7:51 a.m.: A caller reported a branch hanging in to the roadway. An officer checked the scene and reported that the branch needed to be removed from the guardrail by the Department of Public Works.

10:34 a.m.: Several callers reported a tree blocking Lumber Street. The Highway Department removed the tree.

11:21 a.m.: A person asked for an officer to take a report of vandalism to a vehicle on Church Street. The van had two slashed tires.

1:02 p.m.: A from Hayden Rowe Street reported that her car had been egged overnight. The incident was logged for future reference.

5:48 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that she was run off the roadway n Cedar Street Ext. An officer responded and took a report, the Southborough Police Department was also notified so they could look for the vehicle.

 5:56 p.m.: A 911 caller reported and erratic operator on the wrong side of the roadway on Wyman Lane.

6:10 p.m.: A caller reported a crash on Cedar Street.

8:00 p.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle from a past larceny may have just pulled in to his driveway.

10:03 p.m.: The Salem Police Department reported probably cause for an arrest of a person who may have been headed to a Hopkinton residence. Officers checked the residence and did not find the person.

10:46 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious person acting strangely on Winter Street.
