Police Log: Late Night Construction, Stolen Check

Monday, May 14
6:45 a.m.: An officer assisted with a car crash on South Street.
7:34 a.m.: An officer assisted with the paperwork exchange after a car crash on West Main Street. A complaint application was filed against one of the drivers, the other was given a verbal warning for failure to yield.

9:49 a.m.: A caller reported that he had gone off the road on West Main Street and was stuck against a guardrail. A tow truck was called for assistance.
10:03 a.m.: An officer conducted a safety seminar at a business on South Street.

11:53 a.m.: A person from Greenwood Road reported that a check was stolen from them before being made out to someone and cashed.
12:30 p.m.: An officer checked a car street at the
1:56 p.m.: A caller from Alprilla Farm reported an altercation with the operator of a dump truck at the construction site. An officer spoke with both people involved and two witnesses, no threats were made and the situation was worked out.
7:14 p.m.: An officer checked a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street. The operator had AAA on the way.
8:50 p.m.: A caller from Front Street reported ongoing construction. After speaking with the workers they said they were given permission to work until 10 p.m. The detail officer was still on the scene.
10:06 p.m.: A caller from Alprilla Farm was upset abut the ongoing construction at that time of night.
