Police Log: Minor School Bus Crash, Missing Signage

Thursday, May 3

12:37 a.m.: An officer checked several vehicles parked at the complex. The officer also observed that the sign for the J Lot was missing.

5:40 a.m.: On officer spoke to a disabled motorist on West Main Street. The operator said she had made arrangement s with AAA.

8:45 a.m.: A caller reported a multi-car crash on South Street. The caller said the vehicle that caused the crash left the scene toward Milford. Officers from the checked the surrounding area and notified the Milford Police Department.

9:58 a.m.: A caller from Clinton Street reported an unwanted individual on their property. The Ashland Police Department was called because the incident occurred in Ashland.

11:58 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious male cutting down branches on Mayhew Court. An officer spoke to the man who works for a landscape company that manages the site.

2:34 p.m.: A caller from School Street reported repeatedly seeing dogs running through her yard. was contacted.

3:20 p.m.: An officer responded to a “very minor” crash in front of the involving a bus. The officer reported that there was no damage and the bus continued on its route.

4:16 p.m.: A caller from Fenton Street reported that a male and female were at her door asking strange questions. The people knew the homeowners name but soon left the area. An officer checked the area but did not find the vehicle that was being driven.

5:56 p.m.: A caller reported a man on Wilson Street who was causing a scene and scaring the staff. The caller said the man was yelling and irate. The man left the area but was stopped on Cedar Street where he gave officers a different version of the incident.

8:17 p.m.: An officer assisted a disabled motorist on East Main Street.
