Police Log: Missing License Plate, Loose Dogs

Wednesday, April 25
10:09 a.m.: An officer from the checked a vehicle on Clinton Street that did not have a rear license plate. The front plate was on the vehicle and it was registered to a person from Ashland.
10:59 a.m.: A caller reported that a truck was on it’s side, off the road on Erika Drive. When an officer arrived with the there was no one in or near the truck. An officer attempted to contact the owner of the truck, who lived on the same road.

12:20 p.m.: The Fire Department responded to a report of an odor near the library in a school on Hayden Rowe Street.
2:17 p.m.: A caller reported a small brush fire on Oakhurst Road. After checking with the fire department it was confirmed that there was a permit for the house. A firefighter responded just in case.

2:31 p.m.: A caller reported a minor car crash on Main Street.
5:10 p.m.: A caller from the reported that there was a car that had been parked in their lot for a while and it appeared as if it belonged to someone who was living out of their car. An officer responded and spoke to the person who was taking a nap.
5:49 p.m.: A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle on Spring Street. An officer stood by while waiting for a tow truck.
8:02 p.m.: A caller reported an ongoing complaint of dogs running in the roadway on West Main Street. An officer responded and spoke to the dog’s owners who brought the animals inside. was notified.
8:03 p.m.: An officer found a disabled motorist on West Main Street. The car was out of gas and the operator had assistance on the way.
8:10 p.m.: Jennifer L. Gallerani, 37, of 224 Goldthwaite Rd., Whitinsville, was stopped on West Main Street and arrested. Gallerani was charged with drunken-driving and a lights violation.
