Police Log: Three Drunken-Driving arrests, Basketball Injury

Friday, May 4
3:13 a.m.: A state police officer contacted the about an erratic driver on West Main Street. An officer from Hopkinton caught up to the driver who was tired. The officer issued a verbal warning for violating marked lanes.
6:17 a.m.: A caller reported a deliver truck was blocking one lane of East Main Street while waiting for to open. An officer had the truck moved.

1:57 p.m.: An officer transported the driver of a disabled vehicle on Wood Street to their home.
6:19 p.m.: An officer stood by while a construction crew patched a road hazard on Front Street.

7:27 p.m.: A caller reported a possible domestic disturbance at a Hayward Street house. Officers spoke to the woman involved who refused to give her name but said the male had left the area.
7:28 p.m.: An officer from Milford reported an erratic driver headed toward Hopkinton at a high speed on South Street. A Hopkinton officer was unable to find the vehicle.
10:38 p.m.: An officer issued three complaint applications for alcohol violations on Hayden Rowe Street. One person was taken to the station and the person’s parents were called to pick them up.
10:50 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street being driven with no headlights. An officer caught up to the vehicle and reported that the person was new to the vehicle and did not know how to turn them on.
10:59 p.m.: an officer responded to a call from Yale Road about a dog barking. When the officer arrived the area was quiet.
Saturday, May 5
12:16 a.m.: An officer checked a motor vehicle on Hayward Street.
12:24 a.m.: An officer arrested Michael A. Searles, 42, of 143 Ariel Cir., Sutton, on charges of drunken-driving and marked lanes violation after pulling him over on West Main Street.
2:17 a.m.: An officer arrested Josilene Gomes, 37, of 27 Gordon St., Framingham on West Main Street. Gomes was charged with failure to dim headlights, drunken-driving, unlicensed operation, negligent operation, marked lanes violation and refusal to self identify.
3:13 p.m.: An officer took part in community policing at Hayden Rowe Street.
4:24 p.m.: A caller reported that the Emma Road sign was removed and sitting on the side of the road. The Department of Public Works was notified to reinstall the sign.
10:05 p.m.: A female was transported from Blueberry Lane to the Milford hospital after breathing distress.
10:42 p.m.: Hopkinton police officer checked East Main Street after a call from the Ashland Police Department reporting an erratic operator.
Sunday, May 6
1:35 a.m.: An officer gave directions to a lost driver on West Elm Street who was looking for Taunton.
1:43 a.m.: Kristin Marie Blake-Rosenberg, 41, of 73 Bourne St., Jamaica Plain was arrested on route 495 and charged with drunken-driving, marked lanes violation and failure to stop for police.
11:32 a.m.: A cell phone caller reported three youths skateboarding on Cedar Street. An officer spoke with the skateboarders.
1:37 p.m.: A caller reported a black pickup truck reporting erratically on West Main Street. The caller said the driver almost went off the road and almost hit a mailbox. A Hopkinton officer was unable to locate the vehicle but did notify the Upton Police Department.
2:20 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious incident on Main Street.
5:12 p.m.: A caller reported a man yelling and swearing on Chestnut Street. The caller said the man was “going to kill someone” and using extremely foul language. On officer spoke to the yelling man who said he twisted his ankle while playing basketball. The officer checked out the man’s injury but he refused medical treatment.
5:37 p.m.: An officer gave a ride to a person who was walking down West Main Street. The person was taken to his brother’s house.
9:12 p.m.: A person spoke to an officer about possible credit fraud.
