Police Observe Vandalism to Rocks, Suspicious Surveyor

Friday, April 19

1:27 p.m.: An officer assisted after a car crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported.

3:39 p.m.: A caller from Canterbury Lane reported that rocks on their property had been spray-painted. An officer responded ad observed the vandalism.

4:48 p.m.: Officers assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with an alarm activation on Mayhew Street.

Saturday, April 20

10:37 a.m.: A caller reported someone in the woods behind their house on West Elm Street. An officer spoke with the suspicious person who was a surveyor.

Sunday, April 21

8:49 p.m.: An officer assisted the Hopkinton Department of Public Works with a water main break on Elm Street.

9:38 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street. The driver and two passengers were spoken to about wearing seatbelts.

Monday, April 22

8:00 a.m.: A car crashed in to a gate at the condos on Forest Lane.

1:59 p.m.: Officers assisted the fire department with a report of a mulch fire on West Main Street. No fire was found.

4:04 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and arrested Wendell Coca, 26, of 25 B Green St., Milford. Coca faces warrant charges of unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of property damage.
