Safe Stolen During Break-In, Holliston Man Charged With Assault and Battery

Friday, April 26
5:01 a.m.: Officers assisted the Sherborn Police Department after a series of motor vehicle break-ins in their town.
7:22 a.m.: A person went in to the Holliston Police Department to turn in a wallet he found in the center of town.

8:06 a.m. Officers arrested Clifford T. Martell, 40, of 27 Winthrop St., on charges of witness intimidation and three counts of assault and battery stemming from a domestic incident on Thursday.
9:50 a.m.: Police are seeking a summons to charge a motor vehicle driver with operating with a suspended license. The passenger in the vehicle drove the vehicle home after the stop.

12:56 p.m.: An officer spoke to a person who was fishing near Chestnut Street after a caller reported a suspicious vehicle on the rail trail.
2:21 p.m.: Officers responded to a break-in on Forest Park Drive.
3:18 p.m.: Officers arrested Alan B. Stone Jr., 28, of 980 Highland St., on warrant charges.
10:18 p.m.: An officer spoke to three ales in the Pleasure Point parking lot.
Saturday, April 27
2:29 a.m.: Officers took one person into protective custody after an incident on Erin Way.
8:30 a.m.: An officer assisted residents with proper car seat installations at the police station.
12:48 p.m.: Officers assisted the Holliston Fire Department with an out of control burn on Adams Street.
2:13 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on South Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with unlicensed operation.
2:51 p.m.: One vehicle was towed after a two-car crash on Washington Street.
3:37 p.m.: A person brought an old BB gun in to the station to be destroyed.
4:25 p.m.: An officer assisted the fire department with a brush fire on Tracy Lynn Road.
5:43 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious black vehicle in the Country Road area. The caller said the operator appeared to be taking pictures.
6:17 p.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash on Concord Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge one of the drivers with unlicensed operation.
11:59 p.m.: One car was towed after the driver crash at the intersection of Highland Street and Washington Street.
Sunday, April 28
12:29 a.m.: A resident of Forest Park Drive whose house had been broken into reported that the computer that was stolen was being traced to an address in Chelsea.
Monday April 29
7:41 a.m.: A caller from Linden Street reported that two campaign signs had been stolen from her yard.
1:50 p.m.: A caller from Central Street reported illegal dumping.
6:16 p.m.: A caller from Timber Ledge Drive reported that a safe had been stolen from his home while he was out.
