Two Men Charged With Drunk Driving, Brush Fire Extinguished

Wednesday, April 17
8:11 a.m.: A caller from Cross Street reported that trash bags full of glass were left in his front yard.
11:59 a.m.: A person went in to the Hopkinton Police Department to report that their motor vehicle had been broken into.

2:11 p.m.: Officers responded to a four-car crash on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
2:40 p.m.: A caller from Elm Street reported that his vehicle was broken into during the Boston Marathon.

3:04 p.m.: Officers assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with an out of control brush fire on Teresa Road.
3:47 p.m.: A 911 caller from Chamberlain Street reported that he had just returned home and found that a person had broke into his house.
Thursday, April 18
7:20 p.m.: A caller reported that he was following an erratic vehicle on Wood Street. An officer responded and arrested Robert C. Resker, 53, of 7 Glenwood Ln., Grafton on charges of marked lanes violation and drunken-driving. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a nearby home.
11:44 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Route 495 and arrested Joseph A. Robert, 44, of 302 Hayden Rowe St. Robert was charged with drunken-driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
