VFW Flags Stolen, Marijuana-Smoking Youths Advised

Wednesday, April 3
8:01 a.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Highland Street and Washington Street.

9:32 a.m.: A caller reported that five flags had been stolen from the Holliston VFW.
2:03 p.m.: An officer assisted the fire department with a brush fire on Marshall Street.

5:12 p.m.: An employee of Holliston Family Pharmacy reported a previous larceny by check.
Friday, April 5
6:07 a.m.: Officers assisted the Holliston Fire Department with a dumpster fire on Mayflower Landing.
8:34 a.m.: A caller from Mohawk Path reported that a vehicle passed a school bus while it was stopped picking up students.
1:27 p.m.: A caller from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported that three warning signs were stolen from a work area on Washington Street near South Street.
3:23 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle in the Bazel’s parking lot. According to the caller the occupants of the vehicle were possibly violating marijuana and alcohol laws.
3:32 p.m.: Two vehicles were towed after they were involved in a crash on Concord Street.
6:36 p.m.: Officers responded to a brush fire on Gorwin Drive. The homeowner had extinguished the fire prior to a response.
Saturday, April 6
8:16 a.m.: Officers investigated a hit and run crash on Highland Street.
2:46 p.m.: An officer reported two dirt bikes on the rail trail. The officer was unable to stop the vehicles.
5:51 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street and arrested Luis Polinario Tacuri-Castro, 24, of 19 Oliver St., Milford. He was charged with unlicensed operation and two counts of failure to wear a seatbelt.
Sunday, April 7
12:13 p.m.: Officers spoke with residents of Dorset Road regarding a dispute over tree cutting.
9:33 p.m.: An officer assisted a Massachusetts State Police trooper that was dealing with three youths on Highland Street that were smoking marijuana.
