West Main Street Break-Ins, Driver Off Road

Tuesday, April 2

7:52 a.m.: A caller from a West Main Street business reported that when he was opening his store he noticed missing items.

9:11 a.m.: A caller from West Main Street reported an overnight break-in. A laptop was missing and there appeared to be signs of forced entry.

1:05 p.m.: A caller from Rosewood Lane reported a motor vehicle break-in.

4:16 p.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle passed her and then slammed on the brakes, causing her to drive off the road. Officers from the Hopkinton Police Department checked the Chestnut Street area but could not find the suspect’s vehicle.

Wednesday, April 3

7:26 a.m.: A caller reported an erratic truck on Cedar Street traveling slowly and then turning in to Carbone’s. An officer indicated that the truck driver was probably worried because of the low bridge in Southborough.

10:16 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious man in coveralls walking through yards on Elizabeth Road. Officers responded and could not find the man but they did find recent DigSafe markings.
