The Annual Lynnfield “Art in Bloom” is now VIRTUAL!

The Village Home & Garden Club of Lynnfield presents original works of art interpreted in flowers for all to enjoy online.

The much anticipated annual public art collaboration between the Village Home & Garden Club of Lynnfield and the Lynnfield Art Guild has been brought online this year for all to enjoy!

The Lynnfield version of “Art in Bloom” is traditionally hosted by the Lynnfield Public Library for one week each spring. Since the in person viewing of the show had to be cancelled in 2020, a virtual viewing was introduced this year as a way to continue sharing the inspiring beauty of art interpreted with flowers with the Lynnfield community and beyond.

There are seventeen works of art in the show including over a dozen from Lynnfield Art Guild members and a number of selected art created by Lynnfield High School students.

Creatively composed arrangements were designed by members of the Village Home & Garden Club of Lynnfield along with invited professional florists including John DeCola of Pepperberry Florist, Jessica Saccardo of 829 Blooms, Darlene Donnelly of Heritage Flowers, Colleen Dunleavy & Crystal Mills of Love Child, and Laura Thomson – an alumni member of the Village Home & Garden Club – of Laura Thomson Design.

This year’s show provides the inspiration behind each work of art and the unique pairings are worth “stopping by” to see!
