Bring Your Household and Children's Items To St. Maria Goretti

The Mission of Deeds truck will be in October there collecting new and gently used household items.

LYNNFIELD, Ma. - The Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative is offering two opportunities to clean out your basement while doing good! The first is on Saturday, October 5 from 10 am-4 pm, and the second is Sunday, October 6 from 9-11 am and 4:30-5 pm in St. Maria Goretti Church's parking lot at 112 Chestnut Street, Lynnfield.

The Mission of Deeds truck will be there collecting new and gently used blankets, pots/pans, and small kitchen appliances, as well as new pillows. MOD in Reading provides household essentials to those transitioning from a homeless shelter, survivors of domestic abuse, displaced veterans, and victims of fires or other disasters.

There is also a collection for new and gently used children's clothes/shoes and baby gear, including strollers, car seats, highchairs, and playpens, for The Foster Box, which provides these items free of charge to local foster families.
