KIPP Academy Lynn Charter Expansion

KIPP Academy Lynn Public Charter Schools Apply for Expansion

KIPP Academy Lynn Charter Schools (founded in Lynn in 2004) recently submitted an application to DESE to increase the current maximum enrollment from 1,586 to 2,947 students. KIPP, like all charter schools in Massachusetts, operates on a lottery system, with priority being for students in Lynn and surrounding cities.

KIPP Academy Lynn Charter Schools currently has a waitlist of nearly 1,700 students and is only able to accept ~120 new students a year because of the current maximum enrollment. If approved, KIPP Academy Lynn would enroll 200 students starting in 2026.

On behalf of KIPP Academy Lynn, I am sharing what we recently posted on our Instagram in response to many of the false statements that are being spread in the community. If you are interested in visiting our campuses or learning more, email info@kippma.org.
