Lynnfield Nabs Arbor Day Foundation 2024 Tree City USA & Growth Award

The Lynnfield Tree Committee is pleased to announce that the Town of Lynnfield has once again earned the Tree City USA designation from the National Arbor Day Foundation for 2024, recognizing our community's dedication to our trees. Our commitment to outstanding tree care and engagement has also been acknowledged with the prestigious Growth Award. The Tree Committee's educational initiatives, including lectures, activities, and our "Fall Forest Fridays" series, have been key to fostering an appreciation for our tree canopy.

Join us for a special Arbor Day event: "Owls Up Close" at the Lynnfield Public Library on Friday, April 25th, from 2-3:30 p.m.! This free program, for adults and children 6+, offers a unique opportunity to see six live owls up close with wildlife experts Marcia and Mark Wilson. Learn about local owls through an interactive slideshow and even try hooting! Thanks to the Friends of the Lynnfield Public Library and the Lynnfield Conservation Commission for their support.
