The Rink At MarketStreet Lynnfield Opens For Holiday Season 2024

LYNNFIELD, MA — One of the North Shore's most popular winter traditions is returning for the 2024 holiday season with the opening of The Rink at MarketStreet in Lynnfield on Saturday.

The Rink is returning for an 11th year with a grand opening party from noon to 3 p.m. featuring a live DJ, festive snacks, a hot cocoa bar, live ice carvings and winter games.

Tickets are available here with kids under 3 admitted free.

"We are thrilled to welcome back our community to the annual opening party for The Rink,"

said Charlotte Woods, General Manager of MarketStreet. "This event is one of our most anticipated events of the year and it's the perfect way to usher in the holiday season and welcome everyone to enjoy a festive outing during their holiday shopping trips."

This year's Rink will once again feature a skating surface illuminated with holiday lights, Christmas music, cast-iron chimenea fire pits with Adirondack chairs and a warming tent for those most frosty of days.

The Rink remains open through winter until Feb. 23.

The Rink is open Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting.

Skating admission is $12 for those 4-and-over with skate rentals $6. Skaters can brink their own skates. The grand opening party admission is $20.

MarketStreet is located at 600 Market Street in Lynnfield off Exit 61 on I-95.
