A Healthy Lynnfield, an active community partnership working hard to prevent substance misuse and to ensure those impacted have the help they need, announce it is now accepting applications for its 2025 Healthy Living Scholarships
Two scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each will be awarded to two Lynnfield High School seniors who best embody the mission and values of A Healthy Lynnfield. The recipients will have a proven track record of healthy living and positive, value-driven decision making.
Applicants will be evaluated by considering their academic performance, community service history, and established commitment to healthy living. Criteria include:

- Open to Lynnfield High School graduating seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Recipients must have an established record of community service in Lynnfield.
- Preference will be given to students who have volunteer, work or community service experience with (1) A Healthy Lynnfield or (2) other health-related organizations
- Preference will be given to students who are active members of student activities that embody principles of good health, such as but not limited to: school-sponsored clubs, volunteer work, paid or volunteer work with Community Schools or the Recreation Department or other youth-serving organization or health-related organization.

- A list of involvement and any leadership positions held in extracurriculars such as sports, clubs, organizations, volunteer work, or jobs
- School transcript
- Two relevant letters of recommendation
- Responses to the following questions in 300 words or less:
- How have you exemplified healthy living during your time at Lynnfield High School?
- How will your future academic/career/post-high school goals reflect a commitment to healthy living?
Award recipients will be notified by May 23, 2025, and will receive $1,000 at Commencement. The remaining $1,000 will be awarded after completion of the first year of post-graduate education. Learn more at www.AHealthyLynnfield.org/scholarship.
