Chelsea Man Charged In 3 Assaults On Women In Boston
Fitsum Teklehaimanot, 28, was arrested following an investigation into indecent assaults in downtown Boston Friday.
CHELSEA, MA —A Chelsea man has been charged in two indecent assault cases involving three women in downtown Boston Friday, police said. Fitsum Teklehaimanot, 28, was arrested by the BPD Sexual Assault Unit on Tremont Street around 2 p.m.
Teklehaimanot will be arraigned Monday on three counts of indecent assault and battery, police said. His arrest comes as police investigate a recent sexual assault in the Boston Public Garden.
Police have not named Teklehaimanot a suspect in that case. Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives directly at (617) 343-4400.
