Malden Coronavirus Update: City Reports 47 Deaths

The total number of coronavirus cases in Malden rose above 900 this week.

MALDEN, MA — The coronavirus case count in Malden rose above 900 this week. There have been 913 tested and confirmed cases, according to the city's Thursday report. Malden also reported 47 deaths, up from 19 in the previous briefing, released April 22.

Cambridge Health Alliance launched a COVID-19 testing site at 195 Canal St., which is open to all Malden residents at no charge. Call 617-665-2928 to set up an appointment. Residents will be contacted by the Malden Health Department with the results within five days after being tested.
