Malden Has Opening On Its Disability Commission

The commission is composed of nine members.

MALDEN, MA — The city is looking to fill a new vacancy on its Disability Commission.

The nine-member group of volunteers work with organizations and individuals of all kinds with the goal of ensuring that residents of all abilities have equal access to facilities, services, and opportunities under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40.

The new member is required to have a disability of some kind. The deadline to apply for membership is Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. Applications can be completed on the city’s website. The commission meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
