Malden Man Faces Drug, Weapons Charges After Lynn Traffic Stop
Kemoni Boone and Shondel Holloway, both 21, were arrested after troopers found a gun and drugs in their rented SUV, police said.

MALDEN, MA – A Malden man was one of two people arrested in Lynn Wednesday night after troopers found a gun and drugs in a rented SUV during a traffic stop, State Police said.
Around 6:40 p.m., a Gang Unit trooper saw a gray Dodge Durango with Virginia plates driving 60 mph in a 35 mph speed zone on Route 107, police said. After stopping the SUV at Manning Street, the trooper said the two men inside "appeared nervous and were moving in an exaggerated manner," according to a police statement.
The driver, 21-year-old Shondel Holloway, of Lynn, told police the car belonged to a relative. The passenger, who did not show an ID, was eventually identified as 21-year-old Kemoni Boone, of Malden, police said.

A black semi-automatic pistol with a high-capacity magazine was found in the console area. One round was in the chamber and 15 were in the magazine, according to police.
After Holloway and Boone were taken into custody, troopers found bags in their pants containing what is believed to be Percocet, police said.
