Malden Neighborhoods See Uptick In Rodent Issues
Board of Health Director Chris Webb and Ward 7 Councilor Neal Anderson have scheduled a community meeting next week to address the problem.
MALDEN, MA — Board of Health Director Chris Webb and Ward 7 City Councilor Neal Anderson will hold a community meeting to address the uptick in rodents. Webb will provide information about rodents and their habitats and why there has been increased activity this year.
Attendees will also learn about extermination methods and issues and what property owners should do to secure their trash, which will help alleviate the problem.
The meeting will take place Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. at Lincoln Commons, Cross Street. There will be a 50-person limit, and attendees are reminded to wear face coverings and stay six feet apart from one another at all times.

In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled to Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
