Malden Temple Consolidation Vote Sunday
The new congregation would be named Temple Tiferet Shalom of the North Shore.

The congregation of Temple Tifereth Israel of Malden will vote Oct. 18 on whether to merge with another reformed temple in Peabody, Temple Beth Shalom.
A congregation meeting will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 at Temple Tifereth Israel.
If the merger is approved, the temple building at 539 Salem St. in Malden will be sold and a new, consolidated congregation will be formed in Peabody.

Temple Tifereth Israel is a welcoming, supportive, and spiritual congregation affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, according to its mission statement.

- In 1945 by Paula Mae Ruderman for our 15th anniversary.
- In 1955 by Jacob I. Ziner for our 25th anniversary.
