MALDEN, MA — Two people wanted in connection with a break-in in Malden earlier this week are accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of wedding gifts, WHDH reported.

The father of the bride told the network he went down to investigate a noise, but did not realize someone had broken in until the next day. The soon-to-be newlyweds were storing the gifts at the home of the bride's parents, where they plan to live once they are married.

The break-in was reported Aug. 2 on the 200 block of Broadway, police said. One of the suspects appeared to be wearing a fedora-style hat, police said. Surveillance images show another person interacting with the man on the porch of the home.
