Malden Throws Parade For Residents' 100th Birthday
Ward 5 celebrated longtime residents Marge Crocker and Neska Berthel, who recently turned 100 years old.
MALDEN, MA β Division Street neighbors came together last weekend to throw a socially distant 100th birthday party for two longtime Maldonians. Ward 5 residents Marge Crocker and Neska Berthel both recently turned 100 and were honored with a drive-by car parade.
The festivities were organized by Havelock Street residents Warren and Mary Ciampoli annd included posters, cards and balloons.
A tuba player and guitarists played while everyone sang Happy Birthday. Councilor Barbara Murphy delivered citations from Mayor Gary Christenson and the City Council commemorating their milestones.
