The “Friends of the Malden Teen Enrichment Center” is a non profit 501(c)3 organization and all contributions are tax deductible. The city has guaranteed payment for a three year lease on the premises; it is however up to MTEC to raise the needed funds to maintain the interior equipment and any renovations or improvements that need to be made to the space. MTEC has been such an exciting addition to the city, a safe space for Malden’s high school youth. None of this would have been possible without the generous donations from countless individuals.
