Woman Fatally Shot In Chelsea; Person Of Interest Sought
Police said a 19-year-old woman was shot in the head on Garfield Avenue Thursday night.

CHELSEA, MA — The person who shot and killed a woman in Chelsea Thursday night remains at large.
The shooting happened on Garfield Avenue. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was shot in the head, NECN reported.
Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes said a person of interest in the shooting may be a man or woman and has long blonde hair, a ponytail and wore a black puffy coat. That person fled on foot on Wesley Street toward the parkway, Kyes said.
