Stolen Wheelchair And Suspicious Dry Cleaning Man
This is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Wednesday through Thursday morning.

- A woman returned to her Barnard Hawkes Court apartment Wednesday at 12:39 p.m. to find  a handprint on the kitchen window and the screen out of place. She also related she is missing a $50 bill.
- At 2:48 p.m. Wednesday at Barnard Hawkes Court resident called police to report someone had taken a wheelchair from in front of the house. Police issued a "be on the look out alert" for a burgundy colored wheelchair. A person later called to say he saw his neighbor in CVS with the chair matching the description. Police are investigating.
- At 5:12 p.m. a man described as, tall, thin and white, wearing a blue wind breaker, knocked on the door of a Clifton Avenue home inquiring about dry cleaning. The woman thought it was strange as he didn't have any identification.
- At 6:12 p.m. an Evans Road woman called 911 to report she had just been badly assaulted. Swampscott Police later found the suspect trying to board a bus downtown. Marblehead picked him up and brought him back to the station where he was held overnight. Â Mark Carbone, 55, homeless, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and trespassing.Â
- At 12:59 a.m. Thursday, a Nahant Street resident called police about a "banging" sound in the parking lot of the Corinthian Yacht Club. Police checked and it turned out the banging was coming from the lines on a boat.Â
