In a six hour, marathon meeting the School Committee worked to set the stage for the next fiscal year. The hotly contested athletic and activities user-fees was quickly shot down and Superintendent Paul Dulac said he is hoping to restore trust in the schools administrative offices. The search for a new superintendent will soon begin as well.

To close the week, Salem-based Rebel Shakespeare opened Friday night starring several Marblehead teens.

Things got heated Saturday when two local chefs competed in a seafood throwdown at the Marblehead Farmers' Market.
