On a recent unseasonably warm spring day, I parked my car at Devereux Beach. Taking in the warm, salty air, I started walking across the causeway and around Marblehead Neck. With each day, more boats are in the water and the trees are now vibrant and lush after a rainy month.  It's my favorite place to go for a walk  - the sea breezes are cool in the summer, the neighborhoods quiet in the winter and the scenery always unsurpassed.Â
This is just one of the many things I love about Marblehead. Just under 20 miles north of Boston, Marblehead is rich with historical significance, has all the makings of a vibrant downtown and has been able to maintain a small town, friendly feel.Â
I hope our new site, Marblehead Patch, will soon be an integral part of the community.Â
