100 Years Ago: Man Stabbed Over Money Quarrel

June 19, 1911: Stabbing Fray Sunday Night: Money Matters Said to Have Been Cause of Quarrel

"A man is stabbed," was the startling announcement made by Harold Williams, A young man from Roxbury, who is visiting here, as he ran down Washington St. Sunday night about 9:45.

An investigation showed that he was not mistaken for about the same time the police were informed that Antonio Damico, 55 years old, and living at 29 Washington St., had been cut in two different places by a man who was alleged to be Joseph Mucci, 25 years old, a resident of Grant Ct., and who has been working in cobbling shops in this city.
