100 Years Ago: Mysterious Man Chases, Terrorizes Women
Six days a weeks (Mon—Sat) Marlborough Patch will highlight an interesting story from the Marlborough Daily Enterprise published on that date 100 years ago.
June 12, 1911: Women Chased by Strange Man: Police Receive Reports from Mechanic St. District of Several Instances
There has been considerable talk and complaint made of a man who is chasing women at night int he Mechanic St. District, north of Lincoln St. Two young ladies living on Maplewood Ave. were chased at different times and were very much frightened. A third young lady dwelling on Mechanic St. was also one of those receiving unwelcome attentions from the young man. One of the person who were accosted says that he is a man without a hat and about the medium size in range and weight. The police have been notified.
