5 Things: Boston Marathon Fundraiser and Run Against Domestic Violence

A fundraiser is being held for those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing this weekend as well as a run against domestic violence.

1. This Saturday beginning at 7 p.m., Speaker's Night Club on 19 Weed Street will be having a benefit for the victim of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

2. Trisha's Run is a 5k fun run or walk on the Assabet River Rail Trail all in the name of ending domestic violence. Trisha Bennett Organization's mission is support programs in anti-violence education, life skills training for young adults, and to help youth organizations establish and maintain safe environments for youth. The event also includes kids activities and raffles. It has a listed price of $20.

3. Someone on Greenwood Road in Hopkinton is having a moving sale beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. There's a piano, tv's and a bedroom set available.
