5 Things: Time for Prayer and Information

1. The First Church of Marlborough will be hosting open prayer time today from 9 to 10 a.m. today

2. The pastor for the church took time to write about the marathon explosions in his latest blog and spoke with us about prayer and faith following such an incident.

3. The three people killed in the explosions were identified yesterday. One Boston University Student killed in the blast was said to be there with two other students. We will have continued updates available here.

4. Do you have a favorite tree near a power line? You may be interested in attending the Tree Hearing today at 10 a.m. where the city will be discussing, tree by tree, pruning and removal operations to reduce power outtages.

5. Puppies make every situation better. We did not time our latest photo contest to give you something cute to look at and get your mind off of Monday's events, but things couldn't have worked out better. We are asking you to post a photo of your puppy and
