4. We got the good word recently that Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Richard K. Sullivan Jr. and Department of Energy Resources (DOER) Commissioner Mark Sylvia congratulated Marlborough officials last Thursday, June 9, for receiving Green Communities grants to finance projects that reduce municipal energy costs and promote clean energy. Marlborough will share $3.6 million with 17 other cities and towns designated as Green Communities last December.
