5 Things You Need To Know Today: June 23

Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today.

1. It will be cooler today (66 high) with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. There will also be areas of fog, says the National Weather Service

2. "Restoring the Dream of Democracy", a public conversation with John Bonifaz, Co-founder and Director of Free Speech for People,
and Massachusetts State Senator Jamie Eldridge will be held Thursday, June 30 at 7 p.m. at Temple Beth Elohim, 133 Prospect Street, Acton. The conversation is part of Grassroots Solutions to "Citizens United v. Federal Elections Commission."

3. The Worcester Business Journal reports that Massachusetts Library Services, which serves 1700 libraries in Massachusetts, is the new tenant at Cedar Hill Place.

4. The fiscal year 2012 stickers for the WeCare residential drop-off site located at 856 Boston Post Road are now on sale.  Marlborough residents may obtain the drop-off site stickers at the WeCare facility.

5. Today is the last day of school for the system. While the kids will find plenty to do this summer, Patch has a few ready to go for you.
