National Book Award Winner cancels due to illness.

The just issued a statement saying that their guest, National Book Award winner Jeanne Birdsall, will be unable to attend her lecture this evening due to an illness. The event will be rescheduled.

1. Monday is expected to be pretty nice with mostly sunny skies and a high of 78 degrees, says the National Weather Service. There is, however, a chance of showers after 1 p.m.

3. The Marlborough Enterprise reported on Saturday that the suspects in a faced charges in Middlesex Superior Court the end of last week.

4. National Book Award winning author Jeanne Birdsall will be at the this evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to  talk about her Penderwick family children's books. The program is free, but the library asks that those interested in going stop by prior to the program and pick up a wrist band. People without wrist bands will be allowed entry on a first come, first serve basis. See the attached PDF for additional details.
