Boston Marathon Prayer Time at First Church Wednesday
The First Church in Marlborough will be holding private prayer time in which residents can pray with pastor Kazimierz Bem following the bombings at the Boston Marathon.

Prayer. It is what Pastor Kazimierz Bem is encouraging residents to do on their own and it is what he will open up the First Church in Marlborough for tomorrow.
"In these coming days I would suggest we all pray," writes Bem in his latest blog. "It is only love and peace and gentleness that will heal and redeem this broken and dying world."
It is natural to have emotional reactions to the events from Monday, he writes. However, as he speaks of praying for those injured and the first responders to the event, he also encourages prayer for those who caused the bombings.

"I plead with you, find it in your heart to pray for the author(s) of this horrific crime whoever they (he/she) might be," writes Bem. "That God might visit their hearts, show them the evil and harm they had done, and deliver them from the powers of evil and hate."
The First Church in Marlborough will be holding private prayer time Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m.
