Deadline To Pull Nomination Papers In Marlborough's Election Looming
Here are some important deadlines in July for those running for municipal office.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — An important deadline for those planning to run for municipal office in Marlborough is coming up quickly.
Nomination papers for a variety of positions can be picked up until July 25 at 5 p.m. and need to be returned to the City Clerk’s Office for signature certification no later than 5 p.m. on July 29, according to the Mayor's Office.
The city is looking to fill the role of its mayor, along with four councilors-at-large, seven ward councilors and three school committee members. The municipal election is set to take place on November 4, with a preliminary vote scheduled for September 16, if needed.

Residents who are looking to vote in the coming election have until September 5 to register for the preliminary election and October 24 for the municipal election.
