Emergency Crews: 495 Fire and Weapons Arrest

With a car fire on 495 and a weapons arrest; it was a big week for emergency personnel.

It was a busy week for emergency crews in the area.

Leading into last weekend, police leveled weapon and drug charges against a woman for having unregistered mace and unprescribed drugs on her after she had been arrested. The woman driving the car she was in was charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

Fire crews from Hudson and Berlin fought a blaze on 495 North Thursday. Seven people escaped before a Chevrolet Suburban was completely burnt up along the side of the road. No one was injured in that incident.
