Marlborough Groups Mount Spring Blanket, Bedding Drive

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Lion's Club is hosting a spring drive to collect bedding items for a Hudson local furniture bank.

The club's drive runs through April 15, and is seeking items like pillows, blankets and sheets for the Fresh Start Furniture Bank, which provides free furniture and home furnishings to people in need.

"A blanket may seem like a simple gift — but think how much warmth and comfort your favorite blanket provides for you when you are cold or lonely. Let's share that cozy feeling with our neighbors in need," the Lion's Club said.

The two groups have several drop-off locations in Marlborough and Hudson. Locals can also donate by buying directly from the furniture bank's wish lists on Amazon and on the Target website.
