Marlborough Man Finishes 3rd in Timlin 5K
For the ninth year in a row, racers from across the state gathered in Hopkinton Sunday to support ALS Research.
More than 1,700 runners descended on Hopkinton Sunday for a race that has come to be more about the community and support than a day about running.
The Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K, named in honor of former Red Sox relief pitcher Mike Timlin's mother, raises money for ALS.
Nineteen Marlborough runners finished the race, with 33-year-old Michael Clements taking third place with a 17:19 time.

Patrick Levenson, 17, of Hopkinton won overall with a blistering time of 16:32; barely off a 5-minute mile. Christopher Kivior, 18, of Milford, came in second with a 17:07 time.
