Marlborough Now Offering Burn Permits Online
Burning season is coming to an end soon, but now you can get burning permits quickly online.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — With spring gardening season starting now, you might be faced with some yard cleanup after a winter of wind and snow.
Marlborough is now offering residents the ability to obtain outdoor burning permits online. With a permit in hand, residents can burn piles of brush and leaves. The permits are free.
The new online permits will be available starting at 8 a.m. on March 27. That's just in time, because outdoor burning season only runs through May 1, per the state Department of Environmental Protection.
