Marlborough PD, Sheriffs to Clean Up Graffiti

The Middlesex Sheriffs Department and the Marlborough Police will be removing graffiti from a variety of locales around the City on Wednesday.

The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department with the assistance of the , will be removing graffiti throughout the City from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 1. They will be using brand new equipment bought by the Sherriff’s Department to assist cities and towns in the county with the removal of graffiti.

On May 19, after an investigation conducted by the Community Services Division, Marlborough Police arrested Zachary S. Lodi, 28, for drawing gang symbols throughout the City. He was subsequently charged with seven counts of tagging. See the story .

The affected properties may include, among other areas, the police substation on Broad St., the  on Granger Blvd., 373 Lincoln St., , 406 Lincoln, the , and the. Each of these locations was tagged with Chicago gangland-style symbols.
