HUDSON, MA — Just in time to grab a flannel for the final weeks of leaf-peeping season, Maine retailer L.L.Bean is opening its newest local store.

The store at Highland Commons along Route 62 in Hudson will have a grand opening celebration starting Nov. 4, according to the company. The celebration will include giveaways and other attractions.

Plans for the store first went public in April when a sign advertising the store's opening went up outside the large shopping center, which is home to the only Cabela's store in Massachusetts, plus staples like BJ's, Market Basket and Lowes.
