Death, Cows, Fraud, GPS, Bats, Etc.

Here's a look at the Medfield police log for July 29 and July 30. 

Monday, July 29

10:44 a.m., Adams Street. Caller said a truck took down a wire going into the building; the wire is on top of the truck and they don't know if it's live or not. Police responded, Verizon was notified and sent someone out.

11:20 a.m., station. NSTAR wanted to speak to a Sergeant about an attempted fraud. 

12:28 p.m., Evergreen Way. Caller reported her GPS was stolen last night, and asked that patrols in the area be increased. 

12:58 p.m., Adams Street. Caller said she located her son who was sleeping in a field. 

2:40 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller reported a truck is blocking his driveway.

3:26 p.m., Hickory Drive. Caller from Texas said he hadn't heard from his sister and nephew in a while and the phone is not working. Police contacted the woman who said she was fine and will call her brother. 

4:07 p.m., North Street. Retraining order to be served.

4:45 p.m., station. Walk-in request to speak with an officer about Rocky Woods. 

5:31 p.m., Causeway Street. Caller said he had a sick woodchuck in his yard. Animal Control was notified.

5:56 p.m., North Meadows Road. Sherborn police called to say there are cows in the river. Animal Control was notified and said that's where the cows (from a nearby farm) go to get water so they are fine. 

Tuesday, July 30

11:33 a.m., Wilkens Glen. Caller requested the Animal Control Officer for two dad squirrels. 

4:58 p.m., Pine Street. E911 caller reported a sudden death. 

11:19 p.m., Upham Road. Caller reported a bat in his house. Animal Control is not on duty; police responded.
