Police Log: Car in a Ditch on Causeway Street

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Sept. 8

11:18 a.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters with a dog that she found on High Street, near the Walpole line. The animal control officer responded and left a message for the owner to pick up the dog.

12:49 p.m.: A woman walked in to the police station to report her bike had been stolen from North Street.

1:28 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarter with a bike he had found in his back yard. Police put it in storage.

Monday, Sept. 9

5:10 p.m.:  A caller reported a possible broken pipe in front of his house on Clark Road.

5:15 p.m.: Dover Police reported a car was all over the road heading into Medfield. An officer said he was on North Street and would look out for it. The car didn't come by.

7:47 p.m.: Newton Police asked for a well-being check on young children. A sergeant contacted the home and found the children healthy and well.

10:18 p.m.: A caller on Sumner Street said her neighbor's garage door was open, and there was a flashing light going off inside. Police checked and found it looked like a problem with the garage-door opener.

10:43 p.m.: AAA called and said one of its members had driven off Causeway Street and was in a ditch. The back end of the truck was in water. Police responded. A tow truck company pulled out the truck.
